Queen Elizabeth offers the very best of Cunard's values and traditions, blended with every conceivable modern luxury that you could imagine. With her opulent public rooms and impeccable service, this new ship reflects the grandeur which has been associated with Cunard ships since the introduction of the Mauretania in 1907; and from the outside, her black hull, gleaming white superstructure and distinctive red funnel echo’s the classic characteristics of the company's distinctive liner heritage.
The Queens Room will cover two decks with a 1,000-square-foot dance floor. This elegant room will display pictures and murals of royal palaces and royal naming ceremonies. A highlight: The Royal Standard presented to the original Queen Elizabeth by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, when she named the ship in 1938. Royal Court Theatre is art deco in style and features private boxes. Garden Lounge is inspired by the U.K.'s Kew Gardens, Cunard will host its "Supper Club" -- dancing, music and taster menus. The Games Deck concept dates back to the original Queen Elizabeth. Games are inspired by those from the 30's, including bowls, croquet and paddle tennis.
The Britannia Restaurant spans two decks, and is the main restaurant, which will offer exemplarity dining as standard. The Verandah is a formal alternative dining venue serving French cuisine. Buffet dining is available throughout the day and evening in the Lido, with a bright and airy ambience, this a more casual relaxed dining experience. In some of the restaurants, guests can enjoy regional cuisines each evening. The Golden Lion is an authentic British pub with a real pub atmosphere and a great selection of beer and cider, complemented by a traditional pub lunch menu with favourites such as cottage pie and fish and chips etc. In the evening take part in a quiz, karaoke or enjoy the live music on offer.
The Garden is a light and sociable room reminiscent of a resplendent conservatory and inspired by the glass houses at Kew Gardens. It hosts occasional Supper Clubs that combine dining and dancing under the stars. After dinner, settle into an armchair and enjoy a selection of fine cigars and cognacs in Churchill's. Cafe Carinthia serves speciality teas and coffees, plus pastries.
